bordeaux

Bordeaux, situated in the South West of France, has been selected as the first French city to visit in
2017 by the Los Angeles Times. The first reason is obvious: the wine. Actually, La Cité du Vin has been created in May 2016 to commemorate the city’s expertise. But it would be ignorant to limit the greatness of the city at its wine production.

Bordeaux is full of culture. Museums, and even operas, as the Grand Théâtre, are still welcoming tons of people every day. Bordeaux becomes more and more a young city, where students feel at their place. Bars, theaters, clubs: the city is full of life. The usual good weather enables you to relax in parks, lying down on the grass.

The location of the city is also an asset. Close to the ocean, it’s easy to spend a day at the beach. Near Bordeaux is situated the county of Les Landes, which is also really appreciated thanks to its forests, beaches and calm.
